Today, I've got some exciting news for both Protagonists and Directors~!
Has this ever happened to you in Frontia? Take note❗️❗️❗️
- You're playing an Episode, hear that the Director updated it with new images, Characters, or other content, and start your playthrough all over again🥲
- You're testing an Episode before publishing, and have to run the whole Playtest from the beginning just to check whether your edits were applied correctly😭

Episode Play Version Update
Now, when an Episode you're playing has been edited, you don't have to start over. You can manually update your current playthrough to the latest version, and the changes may be reflected starting from the next Scene!

This feature is available in version 1.5.0v or later.
📌 Notice about the delayed iOS review
The Android update for version 1.5.0v is complete. The iOS update is taking longer because the App Store review has been delayed.
We'll share another notice as soon as the iOS review is approved.
Update summary
- Check whether a new version of the Episode you're playing is available from the Play menu.
- Updates are not applied automatically. The Protagonist chooses when to update.
- When you update an Episode to its latest version, your play history stays intact, and the latest content may be reflected starting from the next Scene.
How to use it
- Tap the center of the play screen to open the Play menu.
- Tap Version update to compare your current playthrough with the latest version.
- Review the information, then tap Update.
📌 If a newer version of the Episode you're playing is available, a red dot appears at the top right of the version information.
What changes when you update an Episode to the latest version? 🤔
1️⃣ Your play history stays intact
Updating won't change or delete the Scenes you've created or your play history. Everything stays right where you left off.
2️⃣ The latest version applies after the next Scene is generated
After you complete the update, the latest Characters, settings, and Events may begin to apply from the next Scene you generate.
How your playthrough unfolds from there may also change based on what the Director added or edited.
We wanted you to keep enjoying newly added content without giving up the story you've spent so much time playing🥹
