What do I get for following someone?

When a Director you follow publishes a new Episode or shares a post, you get a notification. If you don't want to miss a favorite Director's latest work, following them is the way to go.
How do I follow someone?
Go to the Director's profile screen and tap the follow button. To unfollow, just tap the same button again in the same spot.
How do I manage the notifications?
Follow-related notifications are classified as service notifications, and you can turn them on and off in your notification settings. Notifications you've received are collected in the notification center.

In the Followers / Following tabs on your profile, you can see who follows you and which Directors you follow.

Q. Can I turn off just the follow notifications?
Yes, in your notification settings you can toggle each type of activity notification, like follows and new Episode alerts.
Q. I followed someone but I'm not getting notifications
Check that your app notification settings are on, and that your device (OS) push notification permission is enabled too.
