What are proactive messages?

Turn on proactive messages and, based on your relationship and the flow of your conversations, the Soul texts you first. It's for hearing from your favorite Souls without waiting around.
Turning proactive messages on and off
You can toggle the setting for whether a Soul reaches out first.

Star deduction
Stars are deducted when a personalized proactive message actually arrives. If the setting is on but no message comes, nothing is deducted.
Even with it off
Even with proactive messages turned off, you'll still receive basic notices and messages sent to everyone. So don't worry about missing out on your Souls entirely.

- What a proactive message says depends on the Soul's personality and your conversation so far
- To receive proactive messages, your app notifications need to be on
- How often they arrive can vary from Soul to Soul
